Viewing SIMs by status

View SIMs by status when you want to:

  • See the high-level details of SIMs with the selected status.
  • See and edit the details of a specific SIM.

Description of the SIM statuses

You can view SIMs by any of the statuses shown in the following table.

Status Description
Active The SIMs can connect to the network, and they are included in the account’s invoice.
Online The SIMs are active and currently connected to the network.
Offline The SIMs are active but not currently connected to the network.
Transferring The SIMs are active and currently sending or receiving data.
Terminated

The SIMs cannot access the network.

View a list of SIMs by status

1. From any Connectivity Management platform page, on the main navigation panel, select SIMs, and then select a status.

Info: The Groups option is not a SIM status. For more information, see the section Manage SIM groups.

Result: The platform displays a list of SIMs with the selected status.

For SIM types, the SIM lists display the column headings described in the following table.

Column heading Description
Physical ID

The Physical ID is a unique identifier for a SIM. For cellular SIMs and eUICC profiles, the Physical ID is the ICCID.
SIM ID

The SIM ID is a unique identifier for a SIM. For cellular SIMs and eUICC profiles, the SIM ID is the MSISDN.
Nickname The nickname of a SIM is an optional custom identifier that helps you to differentiate between SIMs more easily. You can use nicknames to organize SIMs. The platform displays nicknames in the user interface, on reports, and in invoices. Each SIM can only have one nickname.
Activation Date The date and time that a user sent a request to activate the SIM.
Termination Date

For terminated SIMs only, the date and time that the operator terminated the SIM.

Note: Terminated SIM lists do not display the IP or Last Data Transfer column headings.
IP

The SIM's APN status (online or offline) and IP address.

The IP address depends on the SIM type, and can be static or dynamic.
Last Data Transfer The last date and time that the SIM sent or received a packet of data over the network.

From any of the SIM status lists, you can sort, filter, and select SIMs.

  • To sort the list, select one of the column headings.
  • To reduce the number of results, or to find a specific SIM, enter a value in the Filter box.

  • To see individual SIM details, select a SIM from the list.
